AssalamuAlaikum,

STEMS was founded 20 years ago in the year 2000 to meet the growing needs for Islamic education to be available for our younger generations, and we are happy to say that we are moving on strong even now, alhamdulillah.

STEMS aspires to raise future generations of leaders with a strong moral character and excellence in both Islamic and academic education. We work on building self-identity and a sense of belonging to our community as these two remain a challenge for our youth. Our success thus far is evidenced by the continued involvement of our Alumni being active community leaders, physicians, journalists, educators, and business entrepreneurs, some of whom are now enrolling their own children in our school. Together we strive to make the world a better place starting with ourselves, our school, our families, and the broader South Florida community.

It is our hope to continue our work and stand strong because our goal is to establish a permanent institution where whoever comes will feel empowered, safe, and challenged to be proactive. This translates to teaching our children through the lens of how the Prophet Muhammad (s) lived and behaved by modeling his character and creating an environment for excellence in everything. To learn and spread knowledge is a responsibility upon all Muslims, and it is our pleasure to earnestly carry this duty out in the form of educating the younger generation.

We provide opportunities for our children by taking in the futuristic approach, hoping to create paths to a powerful and better future for them as they grow. Our spiritual traditions, our faith and our environment that is created for our children will help them become leaders today and tomorrow, and this is what we believe will carry on to the next generations.

It is our desire to create a living environment where the Prophetic tradition is a norm and school  culture where it is easy for our students to develop a deeper understanding of our faith and values within.

Our parents, students, and community share our vision of providing quality education in the best Islamic environment. With their trust and support, we are capable of giving this to the youth who so dearly need it, and we are proud to be a part of this community.

May Allah SWT guide us, protect us and make our affairs easy. Ameen!
