The National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) elevates a school's commitment to the values of scholarship, service, leadership, character, and citizenship and helps middle-level students develop the knowledge and skills to become well-rounded student leaders in their school, community, and beyond.
STEMS’ Student Council
The student council helps share students' ideas, interests, and concerns with teachers and school principals. They often also help raise funds for schoolwide activities, including social events, community projects, helping people in need and school reform.
STEMS Safety Patrol
In the morning, safety patrols have a number of duties which include assisting with safe arrival, in the hallways, cafeteria, and keeping an eye on the students to make sure that rules are followed. On the afternoon patrol, they assist with all aspects of dismissal, making sure that the students remain safe.
